Forecast Snow Stability: The patchy remaining snowpack will continue to thaw and diminish but will remain generally stable. The avalanche hazard will be Low.
Forecast Weather Influences: It will remain mild and become drier for a period overnight. Outbreaks of occasionally heavy rain through the day will affect all levels as the freezing level rises to around 2500 metres. Daytime winds will be generally Southerly becoming strong to gale force through the course of the day. Observed Weather Influences: Wet and mild conditions with strong to gale force, generally West-South-West winds have affected the area. The freezing level was around 1500 metres. ObservedSnowStability: The remaining patchy snow cover exists mainly in the highest corries and sheltered gullies, the snow has been saturated by rain but is generally stable. The avalanche hazard is Low.
