The avalanche danger will increase during the day. The fresh snow and the wind slabs that are forming in particular above the tree line will be deposited on a crust in all aspects. Especially adjacent to ridgelines and in pass areas they will increase in size as the day progresses. In particular on very steep slopes and at intermediate and high altitudes medium-sized natural avalanches are possible. Dry avalanches can be released in near-surface layers. Along the border with Switzerland these avalanche prone locations are more widespread. As a consequence of the precipitation more moist and wet avalanches are possible in the late morning. This applies in particular on very steep slopes below the tree line.

As a consequence of highly fluctuating temperatures and snowfall above approximately 2200 m and the occasionally strong wind, an unfavourable avalanche situation will develop in the course of the day. 15 to 40 cm of snow, and even more in some localities, will fall on Tuesday above approximately 2000 m. The weather conditions will cause a rise in the danger of dry avalanches as the day progresses. The near-surface layers of the snowpack represent the main danger. Small and medium-sized moist avalanches have been released in the last three days.

In particular on very steep slopes and adjacent to ridgelines and in pass areas more small and medium-sized dry avalanches are possible.
