Forecast Snow Stability: The existing shallow snow cover will remain well consolidated and stable in all locations. Fresh snow deposits overnight above 600 metres are not expected to be significant. Minor wet snow surface instabilities possible on some steep slopes as precipitation turns to rain. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Light snow above 600 metres overnight will clear to give a drier cloudy morning with rain developing at all levels during the afternoon. Moderate mainly Westerly winds will strengthen and back South-Westerly as the freezing level rises above the summits in the afternoon. Observed Weather Influences: After a dry morning precipitation in the afternoon was rain at most levels with some wet summit snow. Moderate South-Westerly winds. The freezing level was around 850m in the morning rising through the afternoon. ObservedSnowStability: There is a shallow covering of snow on many aspects mostly above 700 metres. This snow is well consolidated and stable in all locations. The avalanche hazard is Low.
