Forecast Snow Stability: The very patchy snow cover will continue to thaw and diminish in extent. Remaining snow will be generally well bonded with greatest amounts found in wind sheltered features above 900 metres on North-East to South-East aspects. Many summits and ridges will be snow free. The avalanche hazard will be Low

Forecast Weather Influences: Remaining mild with light rain throughout this period. Winds mostly South-South-West but backing to South-East then to South-West late afternoon. Observed Weather Influences: A bright and dry day. Very mild, around 5 degrees at 900 metres. Winds were very strong from the West-South-West. ObservedSnowStability: The patchy snow cover continues to thaw but remains generally well bonded. Greatest amounts are generally found on North-East to South-East aspects above 900 metres.
