Avalanche danger is low amid favorable conditions, but naturally triggered wet loose-snow avalanches become likelier during the course of the day in steep terrain. Avoid glide cracks and fishbones!

Snowpack Structure

The snowpack is encrusted in early morning, becomes soft and moist swiftly. Low altitudes and south-facing slopes are bare of snow up to high altitudes.

On Saturday, sunshine through Styria, some convective clouds can accumulate in the afternoon in the western regions, but it will remain dry and springlike. At 2000 m: +3 degrees. Light northerly winds.

Tendency

On Sunday, sunny, a bit warmer. The daytime danger cycle requires attentiveness. Backcountry skiing tours should begin early, end early.
