The upcoming days will be dominated by a high-pressure system and dry air masses in the eastern Alps. On Wednesday, after a cool night sunny mountain weather, with excellent visibility. Avalanche danger is in general low. During the course of the day loose wet-snow avalanches which could be triggered in extremly steep, rocky slopes can be sponaneously triggered. Thes avalanches are mostly small to medium sized.

The snow base has settled and is predominantly stable. In high altitudes on shady slopes powder-like snow is found in places. The snow surface is mostly icy or with hoar. The surface in sunny areas gets quickly moist and wet (early spring firn. During the night the snow cover can cool down and solidify.
