Forecast Snow Stability: The very patchy snowpack will continue to thaw and remain well stabilised in all locations. Additional snow loss anticipated by the end of the day. Some potential for the collapse of residual minor cornices over selected steep North to East aspects. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Snowpack Structure

Forecast Weather Influences: Mild and dry throughout. Wednesday looking like another sunny day. Observed Weather Influences: Mild at all altitudes throughout the period and with sunshine during the day. ObservedSnowStability: Snowpack is limited to receding small high altitude snow patches mainly on North to East aspects, a few as low as 800m. Good stability in all locations. Residual small collapse prone cornices remain over a few selected steep crags above 1000m. The avalanche hazard is Low.
