Avalanche Activity

In some localities light snowfall at intermediate altitudes. The new snow and wind slabs of the last two days represent the main danger.

The new snow and wind slabs of the last two days can be released by a single winter sport participant in some cases. On steep slopes small and medium-sized natural avalanches are possible.

Snowpack Structure

15 to 50 cm of snow, and even more in some localities, has fallen above approximately 600 m. The new snow and wind slabs are bonding only slowly with the old snowpack. The wind slabs are barely recognisable because of the poor visibility.

Tendency

In some localities light snowfall to intermediate altitudes. The weather conditions will facilitate a gradual change towards better conditions.
