Forecast Snow Stability: The snowpack will continue to consolidate and will generally be stable at all levels and on all aspects. Some instabilities will remain in recently deposited windslab on steep North-West through North to East aspects above 1000 metres. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: The freezing level will be around 1000 metres overnight, rising above the summits during the early morning. It is expected to be mainly dry, with some light showers during the afternoon falling as rain at all levels. Winds will be moderate Westerly backing Southerly during the night, South-South-Easterly during the day and strengthening to strong. Observed Weather Influences: The freezing level was around 900 metres, after being around the summits for a period overnight. It was a mainly dry day with moderate, generally Westerly winds. ObservedSnowStability: After a period of increased instability overnight when rain affected the snowpack at most levels it is stabilising in the cooler dry conditions. Stability is generally good on all aspects and at all levels. Some instabilities remain in recently deposited windslab on steep North-West through North to East aspects above 1000 metres. The avalanche hazard is Low.
