Look for signs such as rollerballs and pinwheels to indicate these wet avalanches are possible. If you see this, move to more shaded, lower-angled slopes. Warming temperatures and sun could initiate point releases on steep sun-exposed slopes, especially midday and afternoon. Use caution near terrain traps. Loose wet avalanches can be dangerous if they push you off of rocks or into trees or gullies.
