The early morning will see favourable conditions mostly, but the danger of wet avalanches will increase later. The spring-like weather conditions as the day progresses will give rise to moistening of the snowpack below approximately 2400 m. As a consequence of warming during the day medium-sized moist and wet avalanches are possible. Avalanches can in some places be released in deeper layers, in particular by large additional loads. Backcountry tours and off-piste skiing should be concluded early.

The surface of the snowpack is hardly frozen at all and will soften earlier than the day before. Weak layers exist in the snowpack in particular on steep north, northeast and northwest facing slopes. The spring-like weather conditions as the day progresses will give rise to moistening of the snowpack below approximately 2400 m. As a consequence of warming during the day mostly small moist and wet avalanches are possible.

Above approximately 1800 m snow will fall in particular on the northern flank of the Alps. Increase in avalanche danger as a consequence of new snow and strong wind.
