Most terrain has generally LOW danger. An isolated or MODERATE danger exists on steep slopes at upper elevations facing N-E-SE that have deposits of wind drifted snow. Drifts are recognizable by their smooth, rounded appearance and they may sound or feel hollow like a drum. Approach steep slopes with blind convexities or break-overs with caution.

Skies are clear, NE winds are light, and it's cold up there! Today look for mostly sunny skies with high temps in the mid 20's. Ridgetop NW winds will blow in the 10-15 mph range shifting to SW by afternoon. Dry conditions remain through the week. The Friday-Saturday storm isn​​​​​'t materializing, and the progression of a stronger trough timed for Sunday is now being pushed into Monday. Snow conditions are variable with a variety of wind and sun ravaged surfaces. Soft snow exists in only the most sheltered of locations.
