Late morning: Small avalanches are possible on extremely steep shady slopes. The avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular on extreme shady slopes above approximately 1900 m. Avalanches can in very isolated cases be released in the old snowpack, in particular by large additional loads. Afternoon: As the day progresses as a consequence of warming during the day there will be a gradual increase in the danger of wet avalanches to level 2 (moderate), in particular on very steep slopes below approximately 2100 m. Avalanches can reach medium size.

On sunny slopes no snow is lying below approximately 1800 m. In very isolated cases weak layers exist in the centre of the snowpack on shady slopes, especially on shady slopes above approximately 2000 m. The surface of the snowpack will cool hardly at all during the overcast night and will soften during the day. This situation will give rise from the early morning to increasing and thorough wetting of the snowpack. In areas where the snow cover is rather shallow the snowpack will soften more quickly.
