Light snowfall above approximately 1000 m: Wind slabs in particular on steep north, northeast and northwest facing slopes.

In some regions 5 to 10 cm of snow, and even more in some localities, has fallen since Friday above approximately 1800 m. The fresh wind slabs are lying on a crust in all aspects above approximately 2200 m. The old snowpack will be well bonded on steep sunny slopes. Faceted weak layers exist in the snowpack on north, northeast and northwest facing slopes. Hardly any more avalanches were reported. Less snow than usual is lying. In particular on sunny slopes from a snow sport perspective, insufficient snow is lying.

In some regions up to 10 cm of snow, and even more in some localities, will fall until midday above approximately 1000 m. The wind will be moderate to strong. The fresh wind slabs are bonding poorly with the old snowpack. The small quantity of fresh snow and isolated small wind slabs can be released in isolated cases in all aspects above approximately 2200 m. They are to be evaluated with care and prudence in terrain where there is a danger of falling. Restraint should be exercised because avalanches can sweep people along and give rise to falls. Weak layers in the old snowpack can be released by large additional loads, especially on very steep north and east facing slopes in particular between approximately 2400 and 2700 m in little used terrain. The avalanche prone locations are very rare.

As a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation individual moist snow slides are possible as the day progresses above approximately 2200 m.
