Late morning: Especially adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls: The fresh snow of Sunday as well as the sometimes deep wind slabs can be released by a single winter sport participant. This applies in particular on very steep slopes. In many cases they are medium-sized. In particular in steep rocky terrain and on sunny slopes individual mostly small wet avalanches are possible as a consequence of solar radiation. Afternoon: As a consequence of sharply falling temperatures and the strong to storm force northwesterly wind, a treacherous avalanche situation will develop during the next two days. These conditions will bring about a gradual rise in the danger of dry avalanches from midday. Adjacent to ridgelines and in pass areas and at a distance from ridgelines medium-sized and, in isolated cases, large dry slab avalanches are possible. Backcountry touring calls for caution and restraint.

2 to 5 cm of snow, and even more in some localities, will fall on Wednesday in all altitude zones. Towards its surface, the snowpack is soft and has a loosely bonded surface.
