Avalanche Activity

In steep terrain there is a danger of falling on the hard crust.

Individual gliding avalanches are possible. This applies in particular on very steep grassy slopes below approximately 2200 m. Areas with glide cracks are to be avoided.

Snowpack Structure

Little snow will fall in some localities. The wind will be moderate to strong at times over a wide area. The snowpack is wet and its surface has a strong melt-freeze crust. The meteorological conditions will bring about a gradual strengthening of the snowpack.

Tendency

The avalanche danger will persist.
