There are no new avalanche observations. Avalanche activity is considered unlikely until the current weather pattern shifts.
A firm surface crust caps the snowpack, softening slightly each day from direct sunshine.
Deeper in the snowpack, a handful of crust and facet layers persist, including a mid-December layer now buried 50–80 cm below the surface, though none are affecting stability at this time.
