Avalanche Summary

Dangerous avalanche conditions exist. You can trigger avalanches that break in the new snow or at the interface between the new and old snow, which is over three feet deep in spots. Avoid travel on and under slopes steeper than about 30 degrees. If you trigger an avalanche, it will be large enough to bury or kill you. You can find safer riding in lower-angle areas with no steep overhead terrain.
