Highlights

Wet loose avalanches could be triggered on steep slopes today by skiers, snowboarders, and snowmobiles and could pull out snow to the ground. This could occur in the morning on snow covered slopes that did not freeze overnight and at all elevations in the afternoon as temperatures rise. At upper elevations, clouds and wind are expected to keep temperatures in the low thirties, however cornices could fall and break and should be avoided.
