Highlights

Dense slabs to three feet in depth lie at mid and upper elevations. These slabs could be triggered today on steep wind loaded slopes, particularly near cliff areas by bilers, skiers, or boarders and not necessarily by the first person on a slope. Many such slides have been released over the last several days in the Tetons resulting in close calls and partial burrials. Avalanches at low elevations are unlikely today.
