Highlights
Sixteen inches of snow since yesterday morning brings the total of new snow since Christmas to 51 inches. Higher amounts have fallen on the west side of the Tetons. Strong winds have created the potential for large slides to three feet in depth and could be easily triggered or run naturally on avalanche terrain on various aspects. Do not become complacent due to the lack of recent slide activiy. Natural avalanches occurred yesterday at low elevations. TRAVEL IN AVALANCHE TERRAIN IS NOT RECOMMENDED.
