Avalanche Summary

An Avalanche Warning is in effect for areas surrounding Telluride, Ouray, and Silverton, including areas surrounding Red Mountain Pass. Expect very dangerous avalanche conditions from Tuesday evening through Thursday afternoon. You can very easily trigger avalanches large enough to bury you and large avalanches may release spontaneously. Travel in backcountry avalanche terrain is not recommended.
