Avalanche Summary

You can travel without triggering an avalanche on most slopes, but careless decisions could still lead to a bad day. If you travel above cliffs or on very steep slopes, releasing a tiny lens of brittle wind-drifted snow could prove dangerous. Sunday afternoon expect steep southerly-facing snow surfaces to wet, so watch for sluffing, especially near sun-warmed rocks.
