Avalanche Summary

Generally safe avalanche conditions. Lingering pockets of wind-drifted snow at the top of a steep couloir or below a ridge are the few hazards to watch for. Though unlikely, you could trigger a small slide and take a ride if you find hard or hollow feeling snow in these features. Avoiding wind-drifted slopes is always good practice to help stay safe.

Strong wind and new snow could increase avalanche danger Friday and into the weekend.
