Avalanche Summary

Wind-drifted features at higher elevations are the most dangerous and likely places to trigger an avalanche. Westerly winds continue to build freshly drifted slabs. Look for and avoid denser snow below ridgelines and in spots in the terrain where snow collects. Wind-sheltered slopes are safer terrain choices.
