Avalanche Summary
Generally safe avalanche conditions exist. Watch for wind drifts on steep slopes above terrain traps such as a creek or cliff. You might be able to trigger a small avalanche on a wind-loaded slope and even a small avalanche can be dangerous in consequential terrain. Cracking in the snow around your feet or machine and fresh cornices along ridgelines are signs that you might be on a wind-loaded slope and should avoid steep slopes above dangerous terrain traps.
