Highlights

The General Avalanche Hazard is MODERATE rising to CONSIDERABLE today. Slabs to eighteen inches in depth could be triggered on high, wind loaded aspects. As sunlight and rapid warming occur today the snowpack will weaken on all aspects. On Southeast to Southwest facing slopes wet, loose slides will be easily triggered or run naturally. Avoid those slopes, road cuts and slopes that run into terrain traps or gullies this afternoon.
