The General Avalanche Hazard is MODERATE today. Slabs lie in avalanche terrain to three feet in depth. Cold temperatures and settlement have increased the strength and stability of these slabs, however backcountry users could trigger their release on steep wind loaded slopes, particularly near cliff and rocky areas.
