Highlights
At the upper elevations dense slabs one to three feet in depth exist in steep wind loaded starting zones. Large natural avalanches occured Thursday in Four Shadows slide path on Cody Peak, on a steep cliffy face southeast of Housetop Mountain and in Indian Lake Cirque in the Southern Tetons. Similar events could be triggered today. At the mid elevations pockets of dense slab to two feet in depth exist and could be human triggered. Avalanches are unlikely at the lower elevations except in isolated pockets.
