Avalanche Summary

An Avalanche Warning is in effect from Tuesday morning through Friday. The biggest storm of the season is bringing strong winds and feet of snow to an area with a very weak snowpack. You can easily trigger large and dangerous avalanches on most steep slopes. On northwest through north to east-facing slopes, many avalanches will release naturally and can grow large enough to impact valley floors. Travel in avalanche terrain is not recommended.
