It is challenging to trigger an avalanche right now. Cold temperatures and afternoon cloud coverage on Monday will keep many snow surfaces frozen in the alpine. Flurries of snow are unlikely to amount to much and unlikely to add any additional avalanche problems. However, if winds manage to blow any new snow into thin, stiff slabs, anticipate these slabs to slide readily on buried slick surfaces.
