Pockets of soft slabs to a foot in depth from recent snows could be human triggered on steep avalanche starting zones at the upper elevations. The newer snow rests on slick crusts. Sunshine will rapidly warm the new snow and wet-loose sloughs, human triggered and natural, should be expected on sunlit slopes. At the mid elevations the spring snowpack is mostly stable.
