Snowmachines high marking in the steep starting zones of major avalanche paths pose the greatest potential to trigger these killer deep slabs.

Surface slabs up to two feet in depth exist on steep wind loaded aspects and together with large dangerous deep slabs pose a hazard especially for larger triggers such as snowmachines. Backcountry users are advised to consult area specific forecasts issued every morning as new information may become available and unexpected weather can change conditions.
