( Discussion is generated from the previous day's afternoon forecast. )Mostly clear skies will continue overnight then clouds will increase Tuesday with a chance of light snow by afternoon. Rain will be possible below 7,500 feet. Winds will be strong and southerly at thirty miles per hour with higher gusts. AVALANCHE HAZARD FORECAST FOR THE TETON, TOGWOTEE PASS, AND SOUTHWEST TRAILS AREAS:The general avalanche hazard tomorrow is expected to be MODERATE at the High elevations, and LOW below 9,000 feet. Pockets of soft slabs up to one foot in depth could be triggered in steep, wind loaded starting zones near ridgecrests. Point slides will be possible at Mid and Upper elevations if the sun gets a chance to heat the newer snow ahead of the increasing cloud cover.
