Avalanche Summary

It's becoming difficult to trigger avalanches as mild weather deteriorates our shallow snowpack. The remaining slopes of concern are where recent winds drifted snow into firm, connected slabs over weak snow. You could find this setup on steep north, northeast, and east-facing slopes at upper elevations.

As the snowpack weakens, it will become easier to trigger loose avalanches on steep, shady, sheltered slopes. While small, these could be dangerous if they carry you into trees or a terrain trap.
