Avalanche Summary

Generally safe avalanche conditions exist due to a shallow, weak, and discontinuous snowpack. New snow on Friday and Saturday will not be enough to increase the avalanche danger. Still, it's not a bad idea to look for and steer clear of pockets of freshly drifted snow in the alpine. Safer and more enjoyable travel can be found in wind-sheltered terrain.
