Avalanche Summary

Avalanche conditions are generally safe. You might be able to trigger a small avalanche in recently drifted snow. You can avoid this isolated concern by traveling around rounded pillows of drifted snow just below ridges or along gullies.

Above-freezing temperatures mean you might see point releases in wet, cohesionless snow. Avoid steep slopes where you see rollerballs or if you're sinking up to your ankles in wet, cohesionless snow.

Remember, even small avalanches can be deadly if they push you into a terrain trap. Use extra caution if you're traveling in extreme terrain or above deep gullies.
