Sunshine and warming temperatures will combine to increase the hazard at all elevations as the day progresses. Wet loose slides are possible on very steep slopes. Some potential also remains for dense surface slabs up to two feet in depth to be human triggered or release naturally at the higher elevations. At the lower elevations rain and warm temperatures have created unstable conditions. Wet slides are possible on some very steep slopes.

The high pressure will continue to build with clear, cold nights and warm, sunny days. Saturday morning lows will be in the low twenties then temperatures will rise into the upper thirties or warmer during the day. Winds will be from the north at ten miles per hour along the crests.The new snow will continue to settle with continued melt-freeze cycles. Conditions will be quite stable in the morning then the chance of triggering wet-loose slides within the new snow will increase with warming temperatures. Cornice drops and sloughs beginning from cliff areas could also initiate slides during the heat of the day. The general avalanche hazard is expected to be Moderate Saturday.
