The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE above 7,500 feet and LOW below an elevation of 7,500 feet. Above 7,500 feet soft surface slabs up to two feet in depth lie upon slick sliding surfaces near ridge crests on lee slopes and may be human triggered. Evaluate the snow and terrain carefully and use good travel habits. Avalanches are unlikely at the lower elevations.
