On Monday, avalanches large enough to bury or injure a rider will be unlikely.  We commonly say that "Low Danger doesn't mean No Danger" and this is always the case.  Continue to watch for pockets of unstable snow, and use safe travel techniques like riding slopes one at a time.

It's been nearly a week since our most recent snowfall.  Sunny skies, overnight cold temperatures and little wind have led me to not forecast any specific avalanche problems.  The sunny, warm weather will lead to some melting of the surface snow on steep south slopes, but our December sun is weak, and large wet instabilities are unlikely.

I will point out that this is our second day of regular avalanche forecasts.  Our team has been out digging and gaining confidence in our assessment of the snowpack.  While we haven't been finding any persistent weak layers that would lead to avalanches, our confidence in the forecast is moderate, due to relatively few snowpack observations from throughout the range.
