Generally low danger
Avalanche danger is low. Main latent problem: glide-snow avalanches. In danger zones which have not yet discharged on steep grassy slopes in all aspects, glide-snow avalanches are possible at any time of day or night, medium releases possible. Avoid zones below glide cracks.
The snowpack is compact, often thoroughly wet to the ground. On steep smooth grass-covered slopes the entire snowpack glides over the ground. Below 1300 m there is snow on the ground only on shady slopes.
Nocturnal skies on Friday night will be foehn-impacted and mild. On Saturday, strong southerly foehn winds (windspeeds up to 60 km/hr), good visibility, sunshine. At 1500 m: 4-8 degrees, at 2000 m: 1-4 degrees.
On Sunday, enhanced gliding snow problem at intermediate altitudes due to rain impact. At high altitudes, some fresh snow with slight wind impact.
