Continue to use caution if you are traveling around the higher more northerly facing slopes. As time goes on, triggering an avalanche in this terrain becomes less likely.
The overall avalanche danger is LOW to MODERATE. You can travel safely in the majority of the terrain along the Skyline. There's still a chance you could find trouble in the high elevation steep northerly facing slopes.

SNOWPACK: The snowpack has settled and consolidated nicely during the week. It is supportable in most higher elevation locations and travel is easy. Check out THIS BACKCOUNTRY OBSERVATION for some more details.
WEATHER: We have a nice day in store today with mostly clear skies, mild temperatures and fairly light ridgetop southwest wind. The next storm will start to move in later on Saturday with increasing clouds and increasing wind speeds. Most of the snow fall will happen Sunday. It looks like about a 6 inch storm as far as snow totals.
