The general avalanche hazard is likely to increase to Considerable in the Teton and Southwest Trails areas on Sunday as new snow and strong winds rapidly load the existing slabs that lie in the backcountry. Depending on the timing of the new snow, slab depths could grow to thirty inches and will become more sensitive as the day progresses. In the Togwotee pass area, the hazard is expected to increase to Moderate as slab depths increase to potentially eighteen inches in steep loaded terrain.
