Highlights

Soft slabs up to 18" lie at upper elevations on steep wind loaded slopes. These slabs could be human triggered in areas where they are underlain by old, slick, early season snow on N.W., North, N.E., and East aspects. A natural slide was reported to have released Monday morning on a North facing slope in the Mail Cabin drainage. Avalanches are unlikely in areas not underlain by old hard snow.
