Generally safe avalanche conditions exist. You may still find isolated terrain features where you can trigger small avalanches. Use caution in steep, previously wind-drifted terrain features on upper-elevation slopes, especially if you are venturing into extreme or consequential terrain, where even small slides can take you for a dangerous ride. Look for and avoid slopes with wet, saturated surface snow where you can trigger loose wet avalanches and exit if you see roller balls or sink past your ankles into wet snow. Areas at lower elevations and slopes receiving a lot of direct sun will become wet first.

While any avalanches which you trigger will most likely be small, they can still knock you off your feet and push you into places you don't want to go. Start and end your day early to reduce your risk of wet loose slides. Continue to avoid traveling beneath large cornices, which can break unpredictably, and consider the consequences of even small slides where you choose to travel.
