Avalanche Summary
Generally safe avalanche conditions. The snowpack is deep, and it is hard for you to affect the weak layers near the ground. Lingering worrisome spots are where the snowpack is thin, like around protruding rocks, edges of the snowfield, or gullies. Pay attention to areas where you find more than eight inches of new snow; you can trigger an avalanche within this new snow that could take you for a nasty ride. Consider the terrain below you and the consequences of getting caught by a slide.
