Highlights
At the high elevations, skiers and riders have the potential to trigger pockets of soft slab up to eighteen inches in depth. Such events could only occur in very steep wind loaded terrain that is underlain by old weak snow and crusts. Avalanches in the backcountry are unlikely elsewhere today.
