Avalanche Summary

Start and end your day early for the safest conditions and optimal travel. Marginal freezes mean crusts may be superficial and break down quickly as the day warms. If you are sinking into wet snow past your ankles, it is time to head to colder slopes or call it a day. Large cornices are starting to sag and could break. Stay well back from the visible edge and avoid spending too much time beneath these features.
