Avalanche Summary

Many slopes facing northwest through north to east still harbor reactive layers that can catch you by surprise. You can trigger them directly on a steep slope or from long distances away. To help reduce your chances of being caught in a dangerous slide, avoid large, steep open slopes facing these directions of concern. Safer travel options exist on low-angle terrain and south-facing slopes in the morning before they get warm and wet.
