Avalanche Problems
Wind Slabs
Stronger winds Wednesday night likely created new slabs in the alpine. We have limited observations from this area and are uncertain how prevalent they are.
- Be careful with wind loaded pockets, especially near ridge crests and roll-overs.
- Watch for surface cracking and stiffer surface layers of snow. Avoid wind loaded terrain.
